Human Remnants is an unforgettable documentary that showcases the evil mediocrity by creating intimate portraits of the five most despised dictators of the 20th century. This movie reveals the personal lives of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, Francisco Franco, and Mao. We understand their personal and secular details in daily life, their favorite foods, movies, habits, and sexual preferences. There was no mention of their public life or their historical status. Intentionally ignoring the terror for which these people are responsible is something that cannot be ignored in the movie. Human remains approaches this terrorist event from a completely different perspective. Irony and even occasional humor are interspersed throughout the entire documentary. This film, full of dark poetry, is entirely based on facts, creatively combining direct references with biographical research. Although human remains is based on historical figures, its meaning is contemporary and ultimately invites the audience to confront the essence of evil.
